Marietta-Parkersburg Metro Area and the University of Cincinnati: A Research Partnership

The University of Cincinnati has partnered with communities within the Marietta-Parkersburg Metropolitan area to explore the relationship between air quality and health.   Community partners include Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, Neighbors for Clean Air, Washington State Community College and Marietta College.   A Community Advisory Board (CAB) has also been formed to help guide the research.  The CAB is composed of local residents, business owners, physicians, and government officials. 

 

This website will be continually updated to provide the residents of the Marietta-Parkersburg Metropolitan area with study findings, air quality data collected by the research team and information to help understand the effect of air quality on health.  Please contact the study Director, Dr. Erin Haynes with questions or comments: Erin.Haynes@uc.edu, 513-558-5427.
