Focus Groups

CEG Focus Groups are flexible, self-emerging groups that have arisen due to complementary interests among UC and CCHMC investigators. Each Focus Group investigates a major disease or group of diseases for which the research objectives of the previous cycle were successfully accomplished and that have clear genetic and environmental components. Thus, the Focus Groups proposed for the next five years of this grant arise as a natural evolution from the previous five years. However, these focus groups are flexible, and investigators in these groups will be encouraged to move and interact with investigators in other groups and to form subgroups that might be devoted to specific areas of well-defined interest.
