The Master of Science in
Clinical Research program combines didactic
course work, seminars and individual
mentoring to enable clinicians to develop
the analytic and quantitative skills
necessary to conduct research within their
own specialty area.
To earn the M.S. in Clinical
Research, trainees must complete:

45 graduate
credit hours; and
·
A thesis. ( A
minimum of 3 credits required)
Trainees must complete the 10
core courses, which includes the additional
3 credits in biostatistics, for a total of
27 credits. Trainees may fulfill the
remaining 18 credit hours by:
(a)
Completing an optional
Focus Area;
(b)
Additional elective courses
of choice; and/or
(c)
Research.

register for this course until Spring
Quarter, but attendance is taken and credit
given if you have attended the required
number of sessions.

additional hours of biostatistics credit,
trainees may select from the biostatistics
courses listed as
suggested
electives or any of the
biostatistics offered in the Division of
Epidemiology and Biostatistics. We recommend
that trainees discuss their biostatistics
course selection with their advisors. |
